Internet services company Scient has announced a new Innovation Acceleration Lab to be led by Garry Van Patter, a former USWeb/CKS director. Scient and its clients will work together at the new lab, where they will focus on building e-business strategies and working with new technology ideas, the company said. Van Patter will lead the new initiative, which focuses specifically on design, technology, and information. kg
