Rapid City Communications, developer of intranet switches for corporate intranets, announced Basil Alwan as vice president of marketing and John Nirenstein as vice president of sales. Alwan comes to Rapid City after 12 years with Advanced Micro Devices, where he was director of marketing in the networking products division. Most recently, Nirenstein was a regional sales manager at Cisco Systems.
