PSINet, the first commercial ISP, announced a customer-focused alignment of its core U.S. business operations that will create three new strategic business units: corporate network services, carrier and ISP services, and applications and Web services. In addition to defining the new units, PSINet named Jack Chidester, a former MCI senior executive, as senior vice president charged with leading all three business units.
