PSINet has appointed William Opet president of its largest unit, PSINet Corporate Network Services, which serves the dial-up and dedicated Internet connectivity needs for businesses of all sizes. Prior to joining PSINet, Opet was president and chief executive officer for Geotek Data, a division of Geotek Communications. He will be responsible for leveraging PSINet business development to handle services resulting from strategic alliances and partnerships.
