Short Take: Priceline expands grocery service to Detroit

Priceline announced today that it will expand its grocery bidding system, WebHouse Club, to service the Detroit area beginning Feb. 13. Priceline lets customers name their own price on groceries, airline tickets, hotel rooms and automobiles. The company launched WebHouse Club in New York last November and has since moved into Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington D.C.
