Pharos today launched the first global positioning system for handheld computers based on Microsoft's Pocket PC operating system. The Pocket PC Navigator software costs $89. Used with Pharos' $199 GPS receiver, it allows turn-by-turn navigation using voice prompts, Pharos said. Microsoft has its own GPS software for the car, Auto PC.
