Short Take: Oracle, Cap Gemini team on procurement software

Oracle and Cap Gemini said they will jointly sell and install Oracle's Web-based procurement application to U.S. clients. As part of an existing partnership last July, Cap Gemini said it will provide the consulting and integration services needed to implement Oracle Internet procurement software, which helps automate a company's internal purchasing process and supply-chain needs. Oracle said its software will also offer the ability to accept online purchase requisitions and automatically process orders directly to the vendor.
