Short Take: Oberon, J.D. Edwards in deal

Oberon Software, a maker of tools for integrating packaged business applications software with existing corporate systems, has signed a deal with software developer J.D. Edwards to link its applications to legacy systems. Oberon is also building two specialized applications for use with J.D. Edwards' WorldSoftware, the companies said.
