Short Take: Novell releases GroupWise 5.5 upgrade
Novell has released the GroupWise 5.5 Enhancement Pack priced at $20 per user for current GroupWise 5.5 users. The client now supports Post Office Protocol 3 and Internet Mail Access Protocol 4, allowing users to access Internet-standard mail servers and the proprietary GroupWise server. GroupWise now supports Extended Secure Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol. It also now includes browser access to GroupWise servers, with a new interface based on Java applets and JavaScript.
