Short Take: Nomai strikes back at Iomega

French diskette manufacturer Nomai sued Iomega, seeking to invalidate Iomega's claims of copyright infringement as well as some of its U.S. patents. The companies have been wrangling in European courts over copyright and patent issues since Nomai produced a diskette compatible with Iomega's 100MB Zip drive. Nomai filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
