Mirapoint, a maker of special-purpose servers that let companies easily add or expand email capabilities, appointed Dale Bartos as its new chief financial officer. Bartos formerly was CFO of network hardware company Xylan. Bartos is the first Mirapoint CFO, a spokeswoman for the 60-person, privately held company said.
