Microsoft today announced a deal with Platinum Technology to jointly develop and market the next version of Microsoft's Repository development technology. Microsoft also said it will hold a design preview of the repository for more than 60 software vendors tomorrow at its Redmond, Washington, headquarters. The repository is used to contain software development components and information about components.
