Microsoft has inked a deal with China Telecom, China's largest telecommunications provider, to develop Internet Explorer China. Subscribers to the Net via China Telecom will receive the browser for free. Under the long-term contract, China Telecom will use Microsoft platforms and technology in information systems applications. China says it currently has more than 620,000 Net subscribers.
