Short Take: Micron taps Power exec

Micron Electronics named Lyle Jordan vice president of strategic procurement, responsible for strategic contract negotiation and the development of worldwide supplier relationships. Jordan will report to Nelson Hanks, senior vice president, purchasing. Most recently, Jordan was vice president of manufacturing at Power Computing, where he headed production, master scheduling, manufacturing engineering, purchasing, and product distribution.
