Short Take: Mecklermedia reports record revenues and profits

Mecklermedia reported results for the fiscal year ended September 30: Revenues increased 80 percent, to $55.2 million, compared with $30.6 million for the same period last year. Net income for the year was $3.7 million, or 43 cents per share, compared with a net loss of $3.9 million, or 46 cents per share, for the same period a year earlier. Of the $24.6 million increase in annual revenues, approximately $20.1 million resulted from greater trade show revenues.
