Short Take: Marengi joins Dell

Former Novell president and COO Joe Marengi was not in the unemployment line for long. PC giant Dell Computer announced that Marengi will join the Austin, Texas-based firm in July as senior vice president of the company's relationship group. Marengi will be responsible for Dell's units that serve corporate, enterprise, and medium-sized business customers. Marengi joined Novell in 1989 as a result of that company's acquisition of Excelan.
