Short Take: Lexmark names officer

Lexmark International has promoted its executive vice president of operations, Paul J. Curlander, to president and chief operating officer, a newly created position in the company. Curlander was also elected to the boards of directors of Lexmark International and its parent company, Lexmark International Group. Also elected to the boards was M.A. Hanna chairman Martin D. Walker.
