Short Take: LEK announces notebook series

LEK Technologies, a manufacturer of custom computers, has announced the LEK FutureNote K-Series of notebooks featuring Advanced Micro Devices' 166-MHz K6 processor with Intel's MMX technology. FutureNote K-Series includes 24 MB of memory, a 1.3 GB hard drive, a 12.1-inch active-matrix LCD screen, an 8X CD-ROM drive, and a modem. Base price is $3,335.
