Short take: Lane joins Quest board

Oracle president and chief operating officer Ray Lane has joined the board of directors of Quest Software, maker of software for databases and Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Quest's products include software that monitors the performance of databases and software that generates reports for users of ERP systems.
