Short Take: ISO New England conducts Y2K testing

ISO New England and a number of the region's electricity companies will conduct a Y2K readiness drill to show the adequacy of special contingency plans for the operation of the region's electric power grid that will be in place as a precautionary measure during the rollover to the Year 2000. The drill is one in a series of drills that are being conducted to minimize the likelihood of any disruption of service during the Y2K transition.
