Short Take: Internet Ventures to trade on Direct Stock Market

Internet-over-cable provider Internet Ventures has completed a private placement and a $5 million public offering as the first company to trade on the new Internet-based Direct Stock Market, an online market for small-cap companies. Internet Ventures specializes in Net access in "exurban" areas, cities with less than 500,000 people. DSM has selected Niphix Investments to provide its online trade execution system.
