Technology distributor Ingram Micro announced it has accepted the resignation of David Ingram from the company's board of directors. Ingram has been on the board since May 1996, and is currently chairman and president of Ingram Entertainment. He cited potential conflict of interest because of recent investments. Ingram added that he supports the company's chairman and CEO Jerre Stead, and continues to hold substantial stock in Ingram Micro.
