Short Take: Hyperion, Arbor merge

Hyperion Software and Arbor Software are no more. The companies officially became Hyperion Solutions Corporation following the completion of their merger, first announced in May. Hyperion makes financial management and analysis applications. Arbor makes report writing tools. The new company will trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol HYSL.
