Hewlett-Packard said it plans to strengthen its suite of network-management offerings. The company plans to ship an HP OpenView predictive network-performance management product and new developments for HP policy-based network management. The predictive tool will integrate information from HP OpenView Network Node Manager and HP OpenView NetMetrix to provide IT managers with insight into a network's ability to achieve specific service levels as demands on the network evolve, the company said.
