Short Take: Hitachi to include Veritas software in storage products

Hitachi Data Systems and Veritas Software announced they will cooperatively develop storage-management products. As part of the agreement, Hitachi will offer Veritas' SANPoint Control software in storage-area network (SAN) products. A trial copy of the software will be included with every Hitachi Freedom Storage system.
