Short Take: GoodHome.com raises $30 million

Online home furnishings outfit GoodHome.com said it has raised $30 million in a second round of funding. Investors in the San Rafael, Calif.-based start-up include Homestore.com, MarchFirst, The Hearst Corp., Rhodes Partners and furnishing industry executive Roger Horchow. Also backed by the Learning Company unit of Mattel, the year-old company said it will use the funds to bolster its technology, customer service and marketing efforts.
