Gateway 2000 has released a new Solo 2300 notebook. A 2300LS multimedia model notebook sells for $3,799 and comes with a 12.1-inch active-matrix LCD screen, a 150-MHz Pentium MMX processor, 32MB of SDRAM, a 2GB hard disk drive, a CD-ROM drive, a modem, and Microsoft Office 97-Small Business Edition, plus Encarta 97.
