FTP Software appointed Glenn C. Hazard as CEO. He joined the company as president and COO in April. Since then, Hazard has been the driving force behind its repositioning efforts, including the completion of the acquisition of Firefox Communications. David H. Zirkle, who has served as FTP's CEO since January 1993, will continue to serve as chairman of the board until his retirement in April 1997.
