Fairchild Technologies Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Fairchild Corporation, names Richard Yerman vice president of worldwide marketing. Yerman will be charged with expanding and augmenting the company's worldwide marketing program, focusing on its new line of intermetal dielectric processing equipment, the LK 800. Before joining Fairchild, Yerman was director of marketing for Watkins-Johnson and also founded Summit, a marketing consulting firm.
