Short Take: Epiphany taps Netscape exec

Epiphany, a Palo Alto, California-based maker of enterprise software applications, has named Karen Richardson executive vice president of sales. Richardson was previously at Netscape Communications, where she helped move the company into the enterprise market. Epiphany is backed by venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Information Technology Ventures, and APV Technology Ventures
