Short Take: E-Stamp to operate Siebel's customer software

IT consulting firm Keane said it will install Siebel's customer relationship management (CRM) software for E-Stamp, an Internet postage provider that allows people to purchase and print postage directly from their PC. Boston-based Keane said Siebel's sales, marketing, and customer service applications will help E-Stamp build its call center and customer support. In addition, Keane said it will set up Siebel's Internet self-service application, which will enable E-Stamp customers to search the company's online database.
