Short Take: CSC, Raytheon in $65 million agreement
Computer Sciences Corporation today announced a multiyear information technology agreement with defense contractor Raytheon Company. The value of the agreement to CSC is approximately $65 million a year for an undisclosed term. The agreement calls for CSC to manage a significant portion of Lexington, Mass.-based Raytheon's information technology infrastructure, including mainframes and data centers; help-desk support; and network operations. CSC will assume management of these operations in the first quarter of 2000. As part of the agreement, up to 300 Raytheon employees will be offered jobs by CSC.
