Short Take: Commission Junction raises $40 million

Commission Junction, a business-to-business Web-based sales distribution network, announced today that it has received a $40 million investment from idealab, QuestMark Partners, Hikari Tsushin and Thomas Weisel Partners. This investment represents Commission Junction's second round of venture capital financing. In connection with the financing, idealab agreed to offer Commission Junction's e-business solution to its network of operating companies.
