Short Take: Case deposition scheduled for Friday

Attorneys preparing for the rebuttal phase of Microsoft's antitrust trial are scheduled to take the deposition of America Online chief executive Steve Case this Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Microsoft claims that AOL's $10.2 billion buy out of Netscape Communications proves that competition in the computer industry is strong. Microsoft attorneys already have deposed another AOL executive, as well as managers from Netscape and Sun Microsystems, which is also involved in the deal.
