Short Take: CA taps Maira for consulting unit

Computer Associates International has tapped veteran industry consultant Ajit Maira to head its new Business Assessment and Consulting Group. The BAC Group will compete for business in the growing areas of high-end business and process reengineering consulting. Maira, who has worked at Raytheon, Xerox, and Digital Equipment, most recently ran a consulting practice for Fortune 1000 clients.
