Computer Associates today purchased Security-7 Software, maker of software that finds malicous code in Java applets, ActiveX components, JavaScript, VBScript, and e-mail attachments. CA had earlier incorporated Security-7's technology into its Unicenter TNG and InoculateIT products. CA did not disclose financial terms of the purchase.
