Short Take: Buy.com, E*Trade in marketing pact

Beginning later this week, Buy.com customers will receive a $100 gift certificate for use in any of the online retailer's stores when they sign up for an account with E*Trade. Under the marketing agreement announced today by the two companies, Buy.com will also promote E*Trade on its site. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
