Short Take: Apple exec joins telephony firm

Telephony products vendor said it has recruited the former senior vice president and general manager of Apple's Macintosh Performa division, Ho Leung "H.L." Cheung, to lead research and development for Cidco's newly formed Internet Solutions division. Cheung had worked at Apple since 1981.
