Short Take: Amazon, AOL continue to lock arms

Amazon.com and America Online, two of the largest online players, said they have decided to continue their promotional agreement. The two companies struck a marketing deal in 1997 to promote Amazon's online store across AOL's online properties, including Netscape's Netcenter, AOL.com and CompuServe. The deal will continue for an unspecified length of time. Financial terms were not disclosed.
