Simple Technology is shipping SDRAM (synchronous dynamic random access memory) upgrades. SDRAM synchronizes all operations with the processor clock signal, speeding column access time and simplifying the implementation of control interfaces. SDRAM includes an on-chip burst counter that can be used to increment column addresses for very fast burst accesses. Simple is shipping 8MB, 16MB, 32MB, and 64MB for $205, $370, $715, and $1,405, respectively.
