Short: CheckFree sells software biz to Sungard
CheckFree completed of the sale of its securities certificate accounting software business (CSSII) to Sungard SSI, a subsidiary of SunGard Data Systems, for $20 million. The sale included existing products and all maintenance contracts for CSSII. SunGard will also assume the service and support responsibilities for the products.
