Short: Alteon names president, CEO

Alteon Networks announced Dominic Orr as its new president and CEO. Formerly, Orr was a senior vice president at Bay Networks. Before that, he spent 12 years at Hewlett-Packard as director of marketing and product operations for HP's Computer Systems Organizations. Alteon develops, sells, and supports Gigabit Ethernet network interface cards and switches.
