Sanmina-SCI finds possible option discrepancies
Electronics manufacturer said quarterly regulatory statement will be delayed due to "potential discrepancies" in its stock option policies.
Contract electronics manufacturer Sanmina-SCI on Monday said it would delay filing its quarterly regulatory statement after uncovering "potential discrepancies" in its stock option policies.
The company, which is conducting an internal investigation of its stock option policies, said preliminary findings show potential discrepancies between the actual dates of measurement used for financial accounting purposes and the recorded grant dates of some stock option awards. The "findings are not conclusive, however, as the investigation has not yet been completed," the company said, adding, that it could not determine the financial impact of the findings and would delay its quarterly financial filing.
