Sage raises $5 million
Sage Systems announced Wednesday that it raised a $5 million third round of funding, led by Nth Power. Previous investor Cardinal Venture Capital also participated in the round, along with other investors. Alameda, Calif.-based Sage Systems has raised a total of $10 million. The company develops networking hardware and Web applications, which helps regulate energy usage and automates devices in the home. As part of the investment, Nth Power will receive a board seat.
