Oracle builds Web exchange for the Danes

The Danish government over the next two months plans to start making all of its office equipment and supplies though a business-to-business exchange built by Oracle, the computer company said Thursday. The Danish public sector is scheduled to buy everything from paperclips to cars and computers over the public procurement portal. The exchange, called Gatetrade.com, features catalog buying tools and logistics and financial services. Financial details were not disclosed.
