Nike self-lacing sneakers are real on Back to the Future Day

Brands jump in on the "Back to the Future" fun with products from the movie's 2015 future, including Nike with self-lacing Air Mag sneakers. Bridget Carey highlights the real tech from a future dreamed up in the '80s.

The world went wild on Wednesday with nostalgia for a future that was dreamed up by a movie made nearly 30 years ago.

Not only is plenty of technology in "Back to the Future: Part II" commonplace today, but brands even created products just for the mania surrounding October 21, 2015 -- the day Marty McFly travels to the future. Pepsi, Nike, USA Today and Lyft were among the many brands squeezing every last gigawatt of marketing power from the celebrated day:
