NBA on eBay

In the wake of the National Basketball Association's big basketbrawl, the Internet served its predictable role--offering up endless video streams and slideshows and of course, serving up a cottage industry on eBay.

Even before the players' union had filed its formal appeal on Monday, supporters of suspended Indiana Pacer Ron Artest could buy "Free Ron" t-shirts. A variety of other Artest memorabilia, including jerseys and basketball cards, was also readily available.

Perhaps Artest himself might want to hawk an item or two to make up for the roughly $6 million in lost salary.

Unfortunately for Pacers President Larry Bird, there was no sale listing for a new starting lineup that he might be able to use to replace his suspended trio of stars--Artest, Jermaine O'Neal and Stephen Jackson.
