Apple Computer, known for keeping a tight lid on things at its Cupertino, Calif., campus, has nonetheless fallen victim to a leak.

Well, a water leak, anyway.

According to the Bay City News, a San Francisco-area news wire, a water leak overnight left more than a foot of water inside one of Apple's buildings.

At one point, more than 100 gallons of water a minute were pouring into the building, a Santa Clara County Fire Department dispatcher told Bay City News.

The news service said the leak was reported very early Wednesday morning by a security guard. Water service crews shut off water to the building and are working to clean up the mess.

No word on the cause of the leak, but I'm sure that Apple will get to the bottom of that.
