Kana Communications names interim CFO
Kana Communications, a maker of Web-based CRM (customer relationship management) software, named Art Rodriguez the interim chief financial officer effective immediately. Rodriguez, who most recently held the role of vice president of finance, takes over for former CFO Brian Allen, who left Kana last month for personal reasons. Kana Chief Executive Jay Wood immediately took over CFO duties following Allen's departure. The Redwood City, Calif.-based software maker still is actively searching for a permanent replacement.
