It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Superman flying on a drone
This guy strapped a Superman toy to a DJI Phantom 3 drone and captured the Man of Steel flying around Victoria Park in London and presumably saving the day.
Look up in the sky. It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Superman hitching a ride on a DJI Phantom 3 drone?
Londoner Barry Craig posted a video to his YouTube channel on Tuesday capturing the Man of Steel flying around Victoria Park in London. In the short clip, we see Superman with his arm stretched out flying and maneuvering through the air above the park, presumably looking to thwart some evil plot from the villainous Lex Luthor.
Fortunately, just being in the vicinity of the park was enough to stop Superman's archenemy from executing whatever devious plan he was up to, and the Man of Steel was able to have a leisurely flight through the park on what looked to be a beautiful day in London.
The clip shows just how widespread drones are becoming, and highlights the broad range of things they can be used for. In addition to creating silly videos with Superman flying around, drones have recently stood in for the ""="" shortcode="link" asset-type="article" uuid="de08e97d-8b15-4ecd-8473-8e799a99d5dc" slug="human-torch-drone-disturbs-and-wows-with-fiery-flying" link-text="Human Torch from " section="news" title="Human Torch drone disturbs and wows with fiery flying" edition="us" data-key="link_bulk_key"> flown through whale spouts to collect breath samples and even delivered ice cream to folks in Singapore.
